In a chaotic night of wrestling at the WWE Clash in Paris, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight title in a Fatal 4-Way match against LA Knight, CM Punk, and Jey Uso. The main event ended with a surprising twist as Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, made a crucial interference, helping him secure the victory.

Lynch and Other Champions Retain
The trend of champions retaining their gold was a recurring theme throughout the event at the Paris La Défense Arena. Becky Lynch, who holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, kept her title by defeating Nikki Bella. The Wyatt Sicks also held onto their WWE Tag Team titles after a hard-fought match against The Street Profits.
In other key matchups, pro wrestling legend John Cena won his singles bout against Logan Paul in what was billed as his final European premium live event. The opening contest saw Roman Reigns beat Bronson Reed, but a brutal post-match assault by Reed and Bron Breakker sent Reigns to the hospital on a stretcher.
Tribute to Hulk Hogan and a New Wrestling Venture
The world of wrestling also paid tribute to a late icon. Just days before the event, the inaugural show for Real American Freestyle (RAF) wrestling, a new promotion co-founded by the legendary Hulk Hogan, aired a video tribute to the star. Hogan passed away on July 24 at the age of 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
The new venture, which aims to provide a platform for elite amateur and Olympic wrestlers, has a partnership with WWE, which holds a 10% ownership stake in its title sponsor, Real American Beer. According to RAF CEO Chad Bronstein, the promotion is designed to be a non-competitor to WWE, focusing on “real wrestling” with unscripted matches.
